Reporting to the Director of Sales the F5 Channel Sales Manager will have overall responsibility for sales of F5 products through COMPUTERLINKS Middle East .

Job Profile:
• Have full revenue responsibility for F5 and will be expected to achieve all assigned targets and objectives.
• Jointly develop and execute CL’s F5 sales and business strategy.
• Engage with F5 at multiple levels to build long-term mutually beneficial relationships.
• Review and improve existing channels. Identify and recruit new channel partners.
• Engage with channel partners at multiple levels, from C-level to junior sales.
• Drive and support the channel to deliver sales of F5. Communicate with partners via the telephone and face-to face visits.
• Ensure high levels of sales productivity by educating top-tier partners. Deliver programmes to ensure they have the correct skills and knowledge.
• Work with CL Marketing to create and deliver successful campaigns.
• Attend vendor and customer events as required.
• Travel across the Middle East as required and on occasion to other destinations.
• Engage with sales, technical and management staff in CL where appropriate.
• Provide annual and quarterly business plans for F5.
• Submit timely and accurate forecasts. Meet all business reporting requirements.

Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of the Security and Networking channel in the Middle East. Will ideally have sold Layer 4 -7 Networking / Application Delivery for a vendor or distributor.
• Technical understanding of Layer 4-7 / Application Delivery technologies is preferable. General networking and security knowledge will be considered.
• Must have a network of senior level contacts in key channel partners and vendors.
• Experience of working across multiple countries in the region with understanding of the key partners and specific needs of each market.
• Experience working with major accounts would be beneficial.
• Track record of developing successful vendor partnerships.
• Consistent history of performance and over-achievement.
• Highly motivated with a relentless drive to succeed. Thrives in a high-pressure, quota driven sales environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to speak fluent English; Arabic is an advantage but not essential.
• Creative, with an entrepreneurial approach to growing the F5 business.
• Channel start-up / rapid growth experience would be valuable.
