New build of GFI MailEssentials
GFI has just released a new build of GFI MailEssentials. The new build supports Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and the next generation of Internet Protocol addressing, IPv6. Support for Microsoft's latest operation system means that administrators can deploy GFI MailEssentials in a Windows Server 2008 environment. The new build also supports IPv6 which is expected to replace IPv4 as the main protocol for internet addressing as it allows for a larger address space and greater flexibility in assigning IP addresses.

GFI marketing initiatives
A range of new marketing material for GFI MailEssentials has been created for partners. This material, which includes new adverts and banners, can be used by partners and distributed to their clients.
To help partners sell GFI MailEssentials – a series of comparison charts for our main competitors – has been created by Product Management. GFI MailEssentials is compared to the following products:
Trend Micro ScanMail Suite
Barracuda Spam Firewall
Symantec Brightmail 6 & Anti Virus
For more details, please contact your channel account manager.
Last month, GFI launched a blog that is dedicated to the subject of spam: http://www.allspammedup.com/. Partners are welcome to link to the blog from their website and to promote it among their customers.
Partners are also invited to contact GFI should they wish to co-brand any of the material. Interested partners should email cobrand@gfi.com.

Articles to distribute to partners' local media
Over the past few months, GFI has written a number of articles on a variety of topics that are related to GFI's areas of expertise. These articles are available to partners who may wish to pass on these articles to newspapers and other publications in their area. You can also publish these articles in your newsletters and on your website. All that partners need to mention is that the articles are written by GFI and that they are GFI's resellers in the region.
The articles are vendor-neutral in that they do not push GFI's products directly but talk about a subject or problem that is of interest to small and medium sized businesses.
The articles in Word document format can be found here:
